Like many parents, the only exposure to gymnastics had been watching the Olympics. The terminology, scoring, levels, and expectations were all unfamiliar—but fascinating.

That curiosity quickly turned into a deep dive.

Hours were spent researching, talking with coaches, and learning everything possible about the sport. That passion even led to teaching recreational classes for fun, gaining a firsthand understanding of how gymnasts develop from the ground up.
